| 表面の説明 | Central field depicts a standing or enthroned bishop-like figure facing forward, shown in stylized Romanesque relief, raising one hand in a gesture of blessing and holding a crozier or staff in the other. To the left of the figure, a schematic architectural element resembling a tower or church facade is visible. The design is executed in the crude but vigorous hammered style typical of Bohemian deniers of the late 12th century, with no surrounding legend. |

Bedřich (Frederick) held the Bohemian ducal throne twice, his second tenure beginning in 1178 only after Emperor Frederick Barbarossa intervened directly to reinstall him — at a price. The payment of a substantial sum to the imperial court effectively auctioned the Bohemian succession, and coinage from this period reflects a duchy operating under tight Hohenstaufen oversight. Cach 622 is among the more precisely attributed deniers of the reign, a series that numismatists have long worked to disentangle from issues of the competing claimant Soběslav II.
