Obverse description A plain cross with expanded arms occupies the central field, dividing the face into four quadrants. The cross is rendered in relief in the characteristic style of Savoyard feudal coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin surrounds the design, reading AIMO DVX CHABLASII, identifying Count Aymon as Duke of Chablais. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, as typical of hammered medieval deniers.

Reverse description A stylized château tournois (castle of Tours type) is depicted in the central field, featuring a central tower flanked by two smaller turrets, rendered in the simplified heraldic manner characteristic of Savoyard imitative deniers tournois. The design is set within a circular legend in uncial Latin reading XPIANA RELIGIO, a standard devotional inscription derived from Carolingian coinage traditions. The overall type closely follows the model of the denier tournois, adapted for the County of Savoy under Count Aymon.
