| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a highly degenerate Carolingian monogram derived from the letters VRBS, rendered in a schematic and barely legible form characteristic of late anonymous episcopal coinage. The monogram is enclosed within a single inner circle, beyond which the circular legend runs between two concentric borders. The overall style is crude and consistent with hammered provincial mint production of the mid-twelfth century, with irregular flan edges and uneven relief. |
