| 背面描述 | A voided cross with forked or bifurcated arm tips divides the reverse into four quarters. A large annelet is placed at the center of the cross and one in each of the four angles formed by the cross arms, yielding five annelets in total. The design is boldly struck in relief on the irregular flan, consistent with the hand-hammered technique of 11th-century Mosan deniers. The surrounding field carries fragmentary legend traces. The overall composition is characteristic of the cross-and-annelet reverse type common to contemporary feudal issues of the lower Meuse region. |
