Obverse description Central field features a crowned royal monogram composed of the letters R and Y (or K and Y) arranged symmetrically around a central vertical element surmounted by a crown, with a crescent form below. Four pellets are placed in the four quadrants of the field. The coin is struck on a small, thin flan with a beaded border encircling the design.

Reverse description Central device consists of a patriarchal or double-barred cross with crescent terminals at top and bottom, enclosed within a plain inner circle. A small star or pellet appears to the right of the circle, with an additional pellet to the left. The overall composition is characteristic of anonymous Hungarian medieval bracteate-style deniers, with the design occupying the full width of the flan within the beaded or plain outer border.
