Reverse description Central field featuring a plain cross pattée set within a beaded inner circle, a common devotional motif on ecclesiastical medieval coinage. The surrounding outer legend, in Romanesque capital letters, reads CLVNIACO CENOBIO, identifying the issuing institution as the Monastery of Cluny. A cross pommée or small ornament precedes the legend as a stop marker. The flan edges are irregular and slightly clipped, consistent with hammered production typical of the period.
