Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, a frontal facing figure of the king enthroned, wearing a crown and royal robes, holding a sceptre in the right hand and an orb or globus cruciger in the left. The design is rendered in the crude, flat style typical of early Hungarian hammered coinage. The circumscription legend +ANDREAS runs along the outer border of the irregularly shaped square flan.
