| Beschrijving keerzijde | A patriarchal double cross — the apostolic cross of the Hungarian kingdom — occupies the central field, its arms boldly rendered in relief. Surrounding the cross is a circular border composed of arcs and stylised leaf or pellet motifs, a decorative device common to Árpád-dynasty coinage of the early thirteenth century. The field is otherwise plain, and no legend is present. The design is executed in the Romanesque hammered tradition, with the border ornament serving as the principal decorative frame. |
