| Obverse description | Central plain cross with a small annulet or pellet in the upper angle, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into four quadrants, with the design executed in a characteristically crude hammered style typical of 12th-century feudal Languedoc coinage. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the beaded border. |

| Reverse description | Four large annulets, one placed in each angle of a plain cross, forming the principal decorative motif of the reverse field. The annulets are boldly rendered and centrally positioned within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a circular Latin legend. The overall style is typical of crude feudal hammered billon coinage of southern France in the mid-12th century. |
