Reverse description Central device depicts a displayed Prussian eagle with spread wings, rendered in low relief in the hammered technique. The eagle's breast is charged with a small shield or orb bearing the initial A, the monogram of Duke Albert of Brandenburg. The wings show feather detailing typical of sixteenth-century Prussian heraldic coinage. The irregular flan is bounded by a beaded border, and the field around the eagle is largely plain, consistent with the humble denomination of this billon pfennig issue.
