Reverse description A voided cross with an annelet at the centre divides the field into four quarters, each containing a crescent with beaded ornament, the horns of each crescent oriented toward the cross arms. The design is boldly struck in a primitive Romanesque manner, with the beaded crescents providing strong visual contrast against the plain field. A Latin circumscription encircles the design, partially visible on the irregular flan.
