| Reverse description | A short cross occupies the central field, with an annulet in the first and fourth quarters and three pellets (bezants) arranged in the second and third quarters. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend VILLA and the date 1643 distributed around the periphery. The composition follows the standard typology of Catalan municipal deniers of the period, struck on an irregular copper flan by the hammered method. |
