正面描述	Frontal bust of the archbishop in high relief, wearing a mitre and ecclesiastical vestments, with a schematically rendered face featuring prominently outlined eyes and nose. The crosier is held to the left of the figure, its curved head visible in the field. The bust is depicted in the Romanesque manner, with stylized drapery indicated along the lower portion of the figure. No legend is present in the field.

附加信息	Adalbert III held the archbishopric under almost continuous political pressure, expelled from Salzburg twice — first by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa in 1168, then again in 1194 under Henry VI. Much of his tenure was spent in exile, and coin production during the gaps was interrupted or conducted under rival administrations. Whether a given denier from this period was struck during one of his restorations or under an interregnum claimant is rarely answerable with certainty.
