Obverse description Facing crowned royal effigy depicted from the shoulders upward, the head shown in three-quarter view with flowing hair rendered in relief beneath a plain crown. The bust is set within a beaded or plain inner border typical of Angevin-period Hungarian municipal coinage. The portrait is executed in the rough, expressive style characteristic of early 14th-century hammered silver deniers, with visible lobe-like hair strands framing the face. No legend is present on this side.
