| Beschrijving voorzijde | A crowned lion passant or rampant to the right, rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of late 12th-century Germanic bracteate coinage, contained within a beaded or linear inner circle. Two six-pointed stars and two pellets (dots) are distributed in the field flanking the lion. A surrounding legend occupies the space between the inner circle and the coin's irregular edge, though the lettering is often partially legible due to the thin flan typical of bracteate manufacture. |
