| Obverse description | Crudely struck hammered silver flan displaying a highly stylized architectural or figural motif in high relief, characteristic of 12th-century Germanic bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. The central design features intersecting lines and foliate or geometric elements arranged symmetrically within the irregular square flan. The deeply incuse reverse impression is visible through the thin flan, consistent with hammered technique of the period. The field shows the natural irregularity and die wear typical of small medieval circulation coinage. No legible legend is present, the design relying solely on symbolic imagery for identification. |
