Obverse description Schematic bird's-eye plan of a fortified citadel rendered in a highly stylised Romanesque manner, occupying the centre of the coin field. The architectural motif depicts a gated enclosure surmounted by a prominent arched gateway or tower element, surrounded by crenellated or arcaded walls indicated by linear strokes. The design is deeply struck in low relief typical of late 11th- to early 12th-century episcopal hammered coinage, with no legible surrounding legend. The irregular flan results in partial truncation of the architectural motif at the edges.

Reverse description No design recorded for the reverse of this type; the coin likely bears either a plain or incuse impression resulting from the hammering process, as is characteristic of many ecclesiastical deniers of the period.
