| Obverse description | A standing warrior figure depicted in profile, drawing or holding a bow, rendered in a crude but vigorous hammered style characteristic of early Russian principality coinage. The figure occupies the central field of the irregularly shaped flan, with limbs and weapon rendered in bold, shallow relief. Kashin was one of the smallest and most politically precarious of the Tver sub-principalities, and Vasily Mikhailovich's coinage reflects that instability directly. His denga issues belong to a narrow window before Kashin was absorbed back into the Tver principality, making autonomous issues from his reign genuinely scarce by virtue of circumstance rather than mintage figures alone.
