| Reverse description | A multi-line Cyrillic inscription fills the entire reverse field, arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's surface. The text, typical of Kashin denga coinage of Vasily Mikhailovich, contains the ruler's name and title in archaic medieval Russian lettering. The characters are boldly incuse into the flan and show the characteristic uneven spacing and letter forms of hand-cut dies of the period. The legend reads approximately КНЯЗЬ ВАСИЛИЙ in Cyrillic across several lines, though individual letters are partially obscured by die wear and flan irregularities. |

Kashin was one of the smallest and most politically precarious of the Tver sub-principalities, and Vasily Mikhailovich's coinage reflects that instability directly. His denga issues belong to a narrow window before Kashin was absorbed back into the Tver principality, making autonomous issues from his reign genuinely scarce by virtue of circumstance rather than mintage figures alone.
