| Obverse description | Two standing figures face one another in the field: a prince at left bearing a sword raised over his shoulder, and a warrior at right leaning upon his shield. A row of pellets separates the two figures vertically. The Cyrillic inscription СИ-Л appears in the field, referencing the issuing authority. The composition is rendered in the flat, linear style characteristic of early Moscow wire-money coinage. |

| Reverse description | The reverse bears a pseudo-Arabic legend imitating the titulature of Toktamysh Khan of the Golden Horde, arranged within the field in several lines beneath a decorative arch or cartouche. The inscription is a non-functional imitation of Tatar script, reflecting the tributary political relationship between the Moscow principality and the Golden Horde during this period. The die-engraving is coarse and irregular, consistent with the wire-money hammered technique of the era. |
