| Obverse description | Central field depicts a stylized lion passant to the right, rendered in the characteristic flat, linear style of early medieval Russian wire money dies. The animal is shown with an open mouth and curling tail, contained within a thin inner circle. A Cyrillic legend runs around the periphery of the coin, partially legible due to the irregular flan. The strike is typical of hammered wire-cut coinage of the period, with uneven surfaces and slightly irregular edges. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Cyrillic inscription arranged within an oval or rounded cartouche, reading the seal legend of Suzdal. The lettering is bold and deeply struck in the archaic Cyrillic script of early 15th-century Rus, with individual characters rendered in a monumental display style characteristic of princely seal coinage. A secondary Cyrillic legend runs around the outer periphery of the flan, partially lost to the irregular edge of the hammered blank. The overall composition is typical of the administrative seal-type reverses used on Nizhny Novgorod-Suzdal dengas of this period. |
