Reverse description A fantastical beast depicted in left-facing profile, its body rendered in a dynamic, stylised manner characteristic of early Muscovite denga coinage. The creature displays prominent clawed paws and an elaborate branching or lily-tipped tail curving behind it. Decorative pellets and small circles are scattered in the field around the beast, serving as space fillers. A fragmentary Cyrillic legend, reading 'ACEI,' appears in the field behind the animal. The design is boldly struck in high relief on an irregularly shaped hammered flan.
