| Descrição do anverso |
A stylized beast depicted in left profile occupies the central field of this crudely struck hammered silver denga. The creature, rendered in a schematic artistic style typical of early Muscovite coinage, faces left with a prominent eye and suggested limbs. The design is surrounded by a border of pellets distributed irregularly around the flan's edge. The overall execution is characteristic of the primitive die-cutting tradition of the late 14th-century Moscow mint. |

| Descrição do reverso |
A simplified and partially mirrored Kufic (Arabic) inscription is arranged within a square cartouche frame, a design directly derived from contemporary Golden Horde coinage of Toktamysh Khan. The legend, degraded through successive copying by Muscovite die-cutters unfamiliar with Arabic script, reads as a corrupted rendering of the Tatar khan's name and title. The surrounding field is plain, and the overall strike is characteristic of the irregular flan and variable alignment typical of wire-cut hammered issues of this period. |
