Reverse description Imitation of a Golden Horde dang of Toqtamysh Khan, featuring a pseudo-Arabic inscription enclosed within a rectangular frame adorned with a zigzag or stepped border along its sides. The text, copied from Jochid prototypes, is rendered in a debased and stylized manner by a Muscovite die-cutter unfamiliar with Arabic script, resulting in a garbled but visually convincing facsimile. The framed cartouche occupies the central field of the flan.
