Obverse description Crude hammered flan of irregular oval form depicting a stylized armed warrior or rider figure in profile facing right, rendered in low relief with visible drapery or armored garment indicated by vertical striations. A crescent or saber-like device appears above the central figure. The design is characteristic of mid-15th century Russian appanage principality coinage, struck in a provincial workshop with the typical rough, compressed style of the period.
