Obverse description A crudely struck hammered design on an irregular flan typical of early Russian wire money. The central field depicts a figure, likely a mounted warrior or seated prince, rendered in a schematic style characteristic of mid-15th century Muscovite coinage. The design is struck in low relief with uneven surface texture, showing the limitations of the hammered production technique. Portions of the imagery are weakly struck due to the irregular planchet shape.
