| Popis rubu | Reverse depicts a two-faced Janus figure (bifrons), shown as a stylized human head with two faces oriented in opposite directions, rendered within a circular beaded or linear border. The design is executed in low relief in the crude but distinctive hammered technique of early Muscovite mints. The Janus motif on Muscovite dengas of this period is believed to derive from earlier Byzantine or steppe artistic influences.
