| 背面描述 | Reverse bears a four-line Cyrillic inscription arranged horizontally across the field, reading КНSЬ / АНДРЕИ / ДМИТРЕ / ВИЧЬ, identifying the issuing prince as Andrey Dmitrievich of Mozhaysk. The lettering is boldly rendered in a medieval Cyrillic hand consistent with early 15th-century Russian epigraphy. The characters show typical archaic ligatures and abbreviations of the period, with the title КНSЬ representing the contracted form of КНЯЗЬ (Prince). The flan is irregular and the strike is uneven, as is characteristic of hammered coinage from Russian appanage principalities of this era. |

Andrey Dmitrievich received Mozhaysk as his appanage in 1389 following the division of territories by Dmitry Donskoy, and struck coins there as a demonstration of princely autonomy during a period when Muscovite consolidation was steadily eroding the independence of surrounding principalities. His denga coinage is numismatically significant as some of the earliest documented issues from Mozhaysk as a distinct minting authority. The principality was ultimately absorbed into Moscow under Vasily II in 1454, ending local coinage entirely.
