Reverse description A single-headed eagle displayed, shown with wings spread and head turned to the left, occupying the full field of the coin. The eagle, an imperial heraldic symbol associated with the Prince-Bishopric of Trento, is rendered with detailed feathering on the wings and body in a bold, schematic style characteristic of hammered billon coinage of the mid-14th century. The reverse lacks a surrounding legend, with the eagle filling the flan to the beaded border. The irregular flan edges are typical of hand-struck medieval coinage of this period.
