| Reverse description | The reverse presents a frontal enthroned figure of Saint Hermacoras, first bishop and patron of Aquileia, vested in episcopal robes with a mitre and nimbus. In his left hand he holds a patriarchal cross-staff, while his right hand appears raised in a gesture of blessing. Below the figure is a heraldic shield bearing a diagonal bend, representing the arms of Marquard of Randeck. The scene is enclosed within a plain inner circle, with the dedicatory legend to the saint running in the outer border in Gothic uncial script. |
