(Translation: Aquileia)
Reverse description Enthroned frontal figure of Saint Hermagoras, first bishop of Aquileia and patron saint of the Patriarchate, depicted nimbate and robed. The saint raises his right hand in the gesture of benediction and holds a patriarchal cross in his left hand. The hieratic, frontal presentation is consistent with the Italo-Byzantine artistic conventions prevalent in 14th-century ecclesiastical coinage of the region. The figure is enclosed by the circular reverse legend naming the issuing patriarch.
