Reverse description A crowned bust of John of Bohemia facing left, rendered in a schematic, low-relief style consistent with hammered billon coinage of the period. The crown is depicted with simple projecting points above the ruler's head. The effigy is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding legend IOHANNES in uncial Latin characters introduced by a cross pommée. The portrait, though stylized, conveys regal authority appropriate to John's role as lord of Cremona during 1330–1335.
