Reverse description A large, prominently rendered fleur-de-lis occupies the central field, surrounded by four five-petalled rosettes disposed in the angles. The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular legend running in the outer border. The fleur-de-lis is boldly executed, with clearly articulated upper fleurons and lateral volutes, characteristic of the Aquileian denaro type of the mid-thirteenth century.
