| Aversbeschreibung |
Full-length frontal effigy of Bishop Giuardo enthroned, mitred and vested in episcopal robes, holding a crozier in his left hand and the Gospels in his right, set within a beaded or decorative border. The figure is rendered in the schematic Romanesque style characteristic of northern Italian episcopal coinage of the early 13th century. A circular Latin legend surrounds the enthroned figure, reading partially GIARDO or similar, identifying the issuing prelate. The field exhibits the flat, stylized treatment typical of hammered silver denari of this period. |

| Reversbeschreibung |
Schematic architectural representation of the Cathedral of San Giusto in Trieste, depicted as a facade with a central semicircular arch surmounted by a latticed cupola or dome, flanked by two lateral towers with finial ornaments, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A circular Latin legend surrounds the architectural motif in the outer field. The rendering is highly stylized and symbolic, consistent with the Romanesque ecclesiastical coin-type traditions of northern Adriatic episcopal mints of the late 12th to early 13th century. |
