| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crude schematic bust facing forward, rendered in a simplified provincial style characteristic of 12th-century northern Italian ecclesiastical coinage. A crozier rises to the left of the bust and a star appears to the right, with a cross or quatrefoil motif positioned above the head. The overall design is contained within a beaded border. The execution is rough, reflecting the anonymous hammered technique of the Patriarchate's early denaro issues. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold cross pattée occupies the center of the field, with its splayed arms extending toward the beaded border. A single pellet is placed in each of the four quarters formed by the cross, a design element typical of the anonymous denaro coinage of the Patriarchate of Aquileia during the second half of the 12th century. The surface is plain and uninscribed. The beaded border frames the composition and is consistent with hammered coinage of the period. |
