| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in a naturalistic portrait style characteristic of Flavian-era coinage. The emperor's effigy displays aged, individualistic features with a broad forehead and strong jaw, consistent with official Vespasian portraiture. The legend encircles the portrait along the periphery of the flan. The flan is slightly irregular in shape, as typical of hand-struck Roman Imperial silver coinage of this period. |

The personification is rendered in the classical Roman allegorical style, with drapery falling in naturalistic folds. The reverse type celebrates the theme of public liberty, a key propagandistic motif employed by Vespasian at the outset of his reign to legitimise Flavian rule. The reverse legend is disposed in two lines or around the field. |
