| 背面描述 | Vesta, draped and veiled, seated left upon a chair without a back, her feet resting on a low footstool. In her extended right hand she holds a palladium — the sacred image of Pallas Athena — and in her left hand a long transverse sceptre. The goddess is rendered in a serene, classicising style consistent with Trajanic artistic ideals, her drapery falling in carefully articulated folds. The reverse legend, divided around the field, honours Trajan as Optimus Princeps and identifies the deity as Vesta, linking imperial piety to the sacred hearth of Rome. |
