| 背面描述 | The personification of Felicitas (Good Fortune/Prosperity) stands in full figure facing left, draped in flowing robes. In her raised right hand she holds a caduceus — the herald's staff entwined with serpents — symbolising peace and commerce, while her left hand cradles a cornucopiae (horn of plenty), emblematic of abundance. A small lighted altar appears to the left of the figure, adding a sacrificial and votive dimension to the composition. The reverse legend, divided around the field, proclaims the dedication of the Roman Senate and People to their emperor. The design is typical of Trajan's extensive reverse iconographic programme celebrating the prosperity brought by his reign. |
