| Description de l’avers | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with strong portraiture typical of Trajanic coinage. The emperor's mature, idealized effigy displays a laurel wreath crowning the head and drapery over the left shoulder. The encircling legend runs around the periphery of the flan in capital Latin letters. The engraving is bold and confident, consistent with the refined die-cutting style of the Rome mint during the late Trajanic period. |

| Description du revers | The reverse depicts the Column of Trajan, shown in schematic elevation, surmounted by a statue of the emperor. Two eagles with spread wings flank the base of the column, symbols of imperial apotheosis and Roman military power. The shaft of the column is decorated with a continuous spiral frieze rendered as a band of dots and scroll motifs. The reverse legend is distributed around the field in two lines or peripherally, referencing Trajan's sixth consulship, his title of Father of the Fatherland, and the dedication by the Senate and Roman People. |
