Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with paludamentum (military cloak) draped over the left shoulder, rendered in confident high relief typical of Trajanic portraiture. The emperor's strong, naturalistic profile features close-cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The portrait conveys the authoritative, classical style characteristic of the Roman Imperial mint at Rome during the early second century AD.

Opschrift voorzijde IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P
(Translation: Supreme commander, of Trajan, emperor, conqueror of the Germans, conqueror of the Dacians, high priest, holder of tribunician power.)
Beschrijving keerzijde Winged Victory, nude to the hips, standing to the right with her left foot raised and set upon a low step or platform, inscribing the word DACICA on a large oval shield affixed to the trunk of a palm tree. The palm tree, a traditional symbol of triumph, rises vertically behind the figure, while Victory's graceful contrapposto pose and outstretched arm lend the composition dynamic energy. The scene commemorates Trajan's decisive victories in the Dacian Wars. The reverse legend, arranged around the periphery of the flan, proclaims Trajan's honorific titles.
