| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the confident, naturalistic portraiture style characteristic of Trajanic imperial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive features — a strong jaw, short cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath, and a composed, authoritative expression.
