正面描述 Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted with short, naturalistically rendered hair beneath a laurel wreath, consistent with the restrained portraiture of the Antonine tradition. The bust is draped at the left shoulder, presenting the emperor in a dignified, authoritative manner characteristic of high imperial coinage. The encircling legend runs along the outer rim of the obverse field in well-spaced Latin capitals. The portrait displays strong modeling of facial features, with a prominent brow and defined jaw typical of Trajanic die engraving. The overall composition reflects the refined craftsmanship of the Rome Mint during the early second century AD.

背面描述 A seated female figure, representing Dacia Capta (Conquered Dacia), is depicted in a posture of dejection, seated upon a pile of arms including shields and spears, symbolizing the subjugation of the Dacian nation following Trajan's campaigns of 101–106 AD. The figure is shown with head bowed or turned, draped in robes, conveying submission and defeat in the allegorical tradition of Roman victory coinage. The pile of arms beneath the figure is rendered with considerable detail, including overlapping shields and weaponry. The surrounding legend is disposed in two registers: the main circular legend occupying the rim and the words DAC CAP appearing in the exergue below a horizontal ground line. This reverse type directly commemorates the Roman conquest of Dacia and is one of the most historically significant reverses of the Trajanic series.
