Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Titus facing right, with short curly hair and a slight beard, rendered in high relief in the naturalistic Flavian portrait style. Ribbon ties of the laurel wreath are visible at the nape of the neck. The bust is bare or lightly draped at the shoulder truncation. A circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M, inscribed in incuse Latin capitals along the coin's periphery.
