Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Titus facing right, depicted with short curly hair rendered in fine relief, characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The neck is truncated at the base, with the effigy occupying the central field. A beaded border frames the design. The surrounding legend reads IMPERATOR T CAESAR AVGVSTI F, identifying Titus as Imperator and son of Augustus, distributed around the periphery of the flan.
