| Obverse description | Draped bust of Vibia Sabina, wife of Emperor Hadrian, facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and gathered into a crested diadem adorned with a stephane, with locks swept back and secured in a bun at the nape of the neck. The effigy exhibits the refined Hadrianic court portraiture characteristic of the period, with finely rendered facial features and drapery folds visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads SABINA AVGVSTA HADRIANI AVG P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
