Obverse description Bare-headed and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in a bold, slightly coarse provincial style consistent with Hispanian mint production. The portrait displays the characteristic aged features of Galba, with a prominent nose and strong jaw. The encircling Latin legend reads SER SVLPICIVS GALBA IMP AVG, running around the periphery of the flan. The field is relatively plain, with the bust occupying a commanding central position. The irregular flan edge is typical of hammered coinage produced during the brief and turbulent reign of Galba.
