Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in high relief with fine engraving typical of late Republican coinage. Two crossed tibiae (double flutes) appear in the left field behind the head, serving as an iconographic link to the muse series struck by the moneyer. The border consists of a ring of raised dots. The field is anepigraphic, with no legend present on this side.
