| Beschrijving keerzijde | Jupiter, depicted in a dynamic contrapposto stance, drives a quadriga at full gallop to the left, his right arm raised and hurling a thunderbolt while his left hand holds the reins. Beneath the horses, a scorpion is visible in the lower field, a probable emblem referencing the Plautia gens or a commemorated event. The inscriptions appear in the exergue and right field, referencing the ancestral consulship and military achievement of Gaius Hypsaeus at Privernum, lending the reverse a strongly commemorative character consistent with late Republican moneyer coinage. |
