Obverse description Bare or lightly wreathed head of a youthful deity — most likely Bonus Eventus or a similar divine personification — facing left, rendered in fine Late Republican style with delicate facial features, wavy hair swept back, and a draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with a plain inner border visible around the field. No legend appears on this variety (RRC 405/1a), though some specimens of the issue (RRC 405/1b) bear a control-mark in the obverse field.
