| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large crescent moon with horns pointing upward occupies the center of the field, with seven six-pointed stars arranged above and within the crescent. This celestial reverse type is highly distinctive of the Antioch mint and alludes to the religious and astrological symbolism of the Syrian East. The surrounding Latin legend reads SAETERNITAS AVS, a misspelling of AETERNITAS AVG, indicative of the provincial engraving quality. A beaded border runs around the entire reverse field. |
